Who We Are

Soche Radio is named after Soche Mountain in Blantyre, Malawi. We are an independent digital platform run by immigrants who believe stories have the power to connect, heal, and inspire. Canada is built on new beginnings, and every immigrant carries a voice and a story worth sharing.

Our Mission

Our mission is to amplify the voices and aspirations of immigrants through accessible, authentic audio storytelling, music, and dialogue. By providing a platform where newcomers can tell their own stories, we celebrate resilience, highlight challenges, and build bridges of understanding between communities.

Why We Exist

Too often, immigrant stories are overlooked or simplified. We exist to create space for real voices — voices filled with courage, hope, and possibility. Every story shared adds to the rich, diverse narrative of Canada.

What We Do

Through audio stories, music, and meaningful conversations, we share authentic immigrant experiences, celebrate cultural expression and creativity, and spark dialogue that fosters empathy and connection. Together, we are building a vibrant community where voices are heard, cultures are honored, and a true sense of belonging and understanding can grow.

How We Work

This project is independent and volunteer-driven. We thrive on collaboration, creativity, and community support. Our work is possible because of people who believe in the value of immigrant voices and the power of storytelling to inspire change.
